À propos du poste

Reporting directly to the group's EMEA Chief Operating Officer, with a dotted line to the Group CFO, you will steer the financial performance of the region and be the trusted finance partner to site directors and regional management. Your responsibilities will include:

•        Financial reporting & margin analysis: coordinate monthly financial reporting for EMEA, consolidating the 10 entities’ financials from the region; analyze and provide insights on gaps vs budget and last year performance to help management take the right decisions and prioritize actions. Analysis includes price/volume variance, margin on direct costs by products & customers, Ebitda bridge vs Budget and LY, low margin customers/products, productivity, etc.

•        Intercompany sales, pricing & margin monitoring: Manage transfer prices between regional entities in compliance with Group policy and help arbitrate on any financial issues between sites (costing, invoicing, working capital transfer, etc.),

•        Margin harmonization & analysis: lead the harmonization of margin analysis methodology across the region and produce regular, comparable margin analysis by product, customer and site to support commercial and operational decisions.

•        Support business plan construction on large capex projects – review assumptions and support project management with payback calculations.

•        In collaboration with Site directors, coordinate the Finance team of the region – supporting their growth & development, managing gaps, advising on new hirings or organization changes.

•        Support smaller sites that do not have dedicated controlling resources with their reporting needs.

•        Coordinate EMEA budget preparation, consolidation and presentation; orchestrate the agenda, participate in the annual seminar giving guidelines & templates, review site budgets and consolidate/prepare the EMEA Finance part of the presentation.

•        Contribute to the financial integration of each acquired entity in the region and support recently acquired entities on transversal issues in coordination with corporate teams level (insurance, credit limits, cash management, audits, tax reporting and controls, compliance, etc.).

•        Work towards harmonization and consistency of methodology for reporting, cost accounting and indicators (gross margins, cost categorization); in particular, take an active role in SAP deployment on site to facilitate this harmonization.

•        Assess costing of large NBOs (New Business Opportunities) when multiple sites are involved, to help make competitive quotes.

•        Supervise cost benchmarks on products on request, to help improve and optimize operations and decide on product transfers, etc.

•        Organize working capital reporting and optimization – analyze each component (Inventory, Receivables & Payables), report them monthly, and provide guidance to management on actions to take.

•        Orchestrate cross-fertilization and exchange of finance best practices within the region.

Profil recherché

•        Master's degree (Bac+5) in Finance, Accounting, Business or Engineering.

•        Experience with ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) is a plus, given the role's contribution to reporting harmonization.
